Buhari congratulates Sokoto Diocese, Rev. Father Matthew Hassan Kukah at 70
President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Rev. Father Matthew Hassan Kukah, on his 70th birthday anniversary. The president said he shares in the joy of the occasion with Kukah as he turns 70, on August 31, 2022.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, in a statement indicated that “President Buhari joins the Catholic Church, friends and associates in celebrating with the priest on the milestone.”
The President noted the contributions of the priest, teacher, scholar, and writer to national discourse.
President Buhari prayed that the Almighty God will grant Rev. Father Kukah a longer life, good health, and strength.
