Buhari leaves US for UK on medical appointment
President Muhammadu Buhari has left New York, United States of America, for London, the United Kingdom as earlier indicated in a statement by his media and publicity team before he departed the shores of Nigeria for the 72nd United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Buhari left New York on Thursday after addressing world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, United States last Tuesday.
National Daily gathered that President Buhari is seeking fresh medical treatment in London for an undisclosed illness.
His health has been a major cause of concern to northern leaders over losing power to the South again.

However, in a brief message, President Buhari had assured that, “there is no cause for worry.”
Meanwhile, the President did not make any formal request for vacation. Thus, he is not expected to stay into a duration that would raise suspicions and unnecessary power tussle in the Presidency and the federal cabinet.
However, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo presided over last Wednesday meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, in the absence of the President.
