Buhari signs startup bill into law, congratulates Pantami at 50
President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday, signed the startup bill into law.
Isa Pantami, minister of communications and digital economy, announced this in a post via his official Twitter handle.
The bill seeks to create and develop an enabling environment for technology-enabled startups in the country.
Meanwhile, President Buhari in a statement issued on Wednesday by Mallam Garba Shehu, has congratulated Prof. Pantami, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, at 50.

According to the president, Pantami is one of the most “resourceful, innovative, and effective public officials that I have in the administration.”
“One of the best choices I have made is appointing Pantami because he has added tremendous value to good governance. His depth of knowledge of complex issues is amazing and remarkable.”
He added that the minister’s loyalty and dedication to duty is worthy of emulation.
“As you attain this remarkable journey of life, I pray to almighty Allah to continue to bless you with more good health and wisdom in the service of your country and humanity,” the president added.
