Buhari WAEC Certificate: PDP flying in US investigators
The spokesman of the Buhari Campaigh Organisation has taunted critics of President Muhammadu Buhari over the WAEC result that has been generating controversy since the president his credentials to INEC.
Festus Keyamo said the PDP is now looking for the examiners who marked the president’s WAEC scripts in 1961.
“The dumbest comments I’ve read about the now dead issue of PMB’s WAEC result is to say WAEC forged its own document,” the senior advocate posted on Twitter.
According to him, there’s only one body authorized by law to issue a document, and it can only make mistakes or clerical errors on it but cannot forge it.
“On a lighter note, we understand the opposition is now hunting for the examiners who marked PMB’s scripts in 1961 to ascertain whether the grades in PMB’s WAEC result tallies with the marks they actually gave him, ‘ he said.
The exam body issued an attestation of the document the ex-general said he left with the military, and could not be found again.
But the opposition has seized on that, insisting Buhari never wrote the exam.
