Business Club Ikeja gets new President
DR. Matthew Rotimi Oladele, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of West Africa’s first class security printing company, Megavons (West Africa) Limited has been elected as the new president of Business Club Ikeja.
Taking the mantle of leadership from the immediate President, Engineer Sulaiman Tella, Oladele vowed to continue from where Tella stopped to enable the club become centre of great achievers. Stressing his readiness to place BCI on the already laid foundation of unity, talents and an enviable club, he stated one of his goals to embark on membership drive whereby the club will get more talented minds.
Similarly, he stated that his plan is to use administrative structure that will drive professionalism, competiveness, development and internally generated revenue; design and marketing of sound global and national programme brands to strengthen the BCI.
“My reason of taking over from the immediate past President is to enable me serve not only the business club but also serve Lagos State being the business nerve centre of the country. To achieve this, I will approach state government, especially Lagos State government and other private companies to have a robust business atmosphere. I will like to collaborate with all government agencies and other business bodies to move Business Club Ikeja into more healthy business club.”
Oladele who is also the President, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) stated he would bring his wealth of experience to move the association forward.
Speaking during his acceptance speech, Oladele, who is a fellow in seven professional bodies, stressed that “I am soliciting the partnership of everyone to have a robust economy
