According to a family source who spoke with newsmen, “On February 20, 2024, Mr Stephen Okafor beat his wife to death at their home in Ire Akari estate.
On that same day, after realising what he did, he took his wife to a hospital at Isolo where she was confirmed dead.
He then hurriedly chartered a local ambulance to take her body to her family house in Enugu. When the ambulance got there, the lady’s family discovered she was brutally beaten to death.
The local ambulance driver has been arrested.”
