Charly Boy reacts as President Buhari seeks house of reps’ approval for new borrowing
Nigerian veteran singer, Charly Boy, has taken to social media to air his opinion, following the letter of President Muhammadu Buhari to the House of Representatives with regards to their approval to borrow more funds from other countries.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had earlier on, sent an official letter to the House of Representatives, seeking an amendment to the 2022 fiscal framework, as he revealed that the deficit in the 2022 Appropriation Act has risen by 965.42 billion Naira to 7.35 billion Naira.
The president further went ahead to state that his administration will need to borrow more funds to fill the gap, while also calling for an amendment of the federal government’s budget and the fiscal framework for 2022.
However, following President Muhammadu Buhari’s decision to borrow more money, Nigerian legendary singer, Charly Boy, took to his official Instagram page to react, as he revealed that the beautiful children that are yet to be born into Nigerian will be the ones that will pay up the debts owed by the country.
Charly Boy further went ahead to reveal that nothing can surprise Nigerians again, adding that he is afraid of the future of the country and Nigerians.
