Chief of Air Staff approves combat life saver course for Special Forces
The Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, has approved the conduct of a Combat Life Saver Course for Special Forces and Regiment personnel at the Nigerian Air Force School of Medical Sciences and Aviation Medicine Kaduna.
The Commandant of the School, Air Commodore Rilwanu Abdullahi, at the inauguration of the course on Monday at Air Force Base Kaduna, commended the CAS for approving the course and providing the funding for the course.
He told the participants that the course was a set of evidence-based medical care customized for use in the battlefield, which can make a difference between life and death.
He further urged the participants to be prepared for exhausting lectures and field exercises in the next four days.
The commandant expressed gratitude to Air Officer Commanding (AOC), Air Training Command (ATC), AVM Ahmed Dari, for his continuous support to the department of Air Mobile First Aid Unit.
He also lauded the representatives of the German Technical Advisory Group and all the Instructors for the successful inauguration and urged them to put in their best for the success of the exercise.
In his inaugural address, the Chief of Medical Services, AVM Anthony Ekpe, urged the participants to take the course seriously.
The chief of medical service, who was represented by Air Commodore AN Chukwuka, appreciated the CAS for his unwavering support to the school and urged the instructors to give in their best for success of the training. (NAN))
