Coordinator advises corps members against night, frivolous journeys
The Ekiti Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Mrs Mary Chikezie, has advised corps members to shun night and frivolous journeys.
Chikezie, in a statement by the corps Public Relations Officer (PRO) in the state, Mrs Rose Onoja, gave the advice
on Monday at the Passing-Out Parade of 2021 Batch C Stream 1 ceremony at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Emure-Ekiti.
“I counsel you to take security matters seriously, avoid unauthorised journeys and don’t associate with strange fellows of questionable characters.
“Move in groups and make use of security tips given to you. Above all, trust and put your confidence in God alone,” she said in the statement.
She urged the corps members to keep up the good conduct they had exhibited in their three weeks stay in camp.
The NYSC coordinator, according to the statement, admonished the corps members to use the hotlines given to whenever in danger.
She advised corps members to express a strong desire in continuing with the entrepreneurship classes, post-camp.
Chikezie also admonished the corps members to maintain good and cordial relationship with the members of their host communities
