Coroner blames Adeleke’s death on drug overdose
A Coroner’s inquest has revealed the cause of late Senator Isiaka Adeleke’s death as drug overdose. This put to bed the insinuation that he was poisoned.
Olusegun Ayilara, the coroner, gave the verdict in Osogbo on Tuesday.
He said, “The high dose of sedatives and analgesics with the mode of administration caused aspiration which culminated in death.”
