Corper’s advocacy brings road to Kwara community battling erosion
A corps member, Obinna Gabriel, who is serving in Kwara State has shared how his attempt to bring awareness to the plight of the residents of the Ayegbami community led to the community getting a road.
Obinna said that the community was battling erosion, which had claimed the lives of two children, shuttered businesses and made about seven communities inaccessible.
His efforts to bring attention to the plight of the community got the attention of the federal lawmaker of the constituency.
The result: “Ayegbami community’s link road has been fixed,” Obinna tweeted.
