Court grants Emefiele bail
The Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja, on Wednesday, granted bail to Godwin Emefiele, former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The presiding judge, Olukayode Adeniyi, delivering judgement on the bail application by Emefiele, directed the federal government to release the former CBN governor to his lawyers.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had earlier complied with a previous court order, and presented Emefiele in court on Wednesday for hearing on his bail application.
