EFCC complies with court order, presents Emefiele for hearing on bail application
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Wednesday, complied with the order of the court and presented former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, in court for hearing of his bail application.

The presiding judge of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, Justice Olukayode Adeniyi, had ordered that Emefiele be released unconditionally or be brought before the court for hearing of his bail application.
Emefiele has been in custody for over 149 days.
The Department of Security Service (DSS) had after detention of the former CBN governor, handed him over to the EFCC.
