Covid-19: First lawmaker to die in Nigeria; assembly shut
Hon. Sule Adamu, a state lawmaker in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has died of coronavirus.
Governor Abdullahi Sule confirmed this on Sunday while briefing newsmen on the update of COVID-19 pandemic in the state.
The state’s House of Assembly would also be shut down and all the state lawmakers be quarantined to contain the spread of the virus in the state.
Adamu was about the first lawmaker in Nigeria to be killed by the virus.
