Deji Adeyanju reacts to the banning of UK, Canada flights by buhari’s government
It was recently reported that some countries like Canada, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and Argentina banned flights from Nigeria from entering into their respective countries, as a result of Omicron COVID-19 variant that was discovered in Nigeria.
In retaliation, the Nigerian government also banned flights from these above mentioned countries from entering into Nigeria.
This particular decision that was taken by the federal government caused a lot of Nigerians to react differently. Based on that note, a well known human rights activist, Adeyanju Deji decided to react.
While reacting, he commended Buhari’s led government for taking such a bold step. He wrote: “That is a very good. I commend the government.”
That is indeed a good and wonderful step by the federal government. Time is right for the Nigerian government to learn how to take this kind of step so that other countries will learn how to respect Nigeria and Nigerians.
