Delta Force defeat Go Round to resume their NPFL campaign
Delta Force of Asaba defeated Go Round of Omoku 1-0 to resume their campaign in the Nigeria Professional Football league, NPFL, Week 13 at the Stephen Keshi, Asaba this Sunday, National Daily gathered.
Zaka Bala 7 minutes penalty kick was enough to give the Ambassadors the maximum three points after Eziukwu Uzoma was brought down the the eighteen yard box.
Head Coach of Go Round Willy Udube attribute the lone goal to the fault of his defender but advised other state government to build sports facilities like the Stephen Keshi stadium.
“Football, anything can happen. Delta Force is a very good side that gave us good game”.
“I admired what the Stephen keshi stadium and I urged other state government to emulate them”.
Delta Force has triple away game with a midweek game against Nasarawa Utd April 3rd, Yobe Desert Stars fc April 7th and Gombe Utd April 14.
The Ambassadors will finally come back home to take on Abia Warriors in the week 17 fixture at home.
Delta stars played an away 2-2 draw against the flight boys of Umuahia landlord in their last meeting in a preseason friendly game.
