Dethroned Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II reunites with wives, children in Lagos
The dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, has reunited with members of his family who include wives and children, on his arrival in Lagos Friday night.
Report indicated that the aircraft that conveyed the former Emir of Kano from Abuja landed at the private wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, at about 12 midnight.
On arrival, Emir Sanusi II drove immediately in a convoy to meet with his family who were lodged in Lagos Island from where they relocated to his residence.
Sanusi II departed Awe, Nasarawa State in the convoy of Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State following court order for his immediate release from detention. On their way to Abuja, Governor El-Rufai had revealed that the former Emir of Kano will be proceeding to Lagos from Abuja.
