EFCC arrests 28 for alleged internet fraudster in Lafia
Operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested twenty – eight (28) suspected Internet fraudsters in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
They were arrested on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at their hideout in Lafia, Nasarawa State, following intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet fraud.
The suspects are: Yusuf Mudi, Umar Ibrahim, Gabriel Selumun, Moses Hamidu, Christian Daniel Kelechi, Sara Abdullah, Abdulsalam Ogba, Ngene Sunday Chinonso, Muoneke Chukuojekwe Celestine, Terhemen sesugh Silas, Emmanuel Phillip, Emmanuel Akwe, Jones Kismet, Shehu Khalif, Emmanuel Isaiah and Adeleke Kehinde Raphael.

Others are: Samuel Kubialah, Sanusi Abdullahi, Dugeri Jerome, Terhemen Mkavter Mark, Joshua Emmanuel, Gedion Sunday, Terwase Kator Kenneth, Benny Ukeh Iyaji, Arigu Nathaniel Bishara, Emmanuel John Idi, Omotunde Mayowa, Kenneth Joy, Ozigho Agnes and Rejoice Solomon
Items recovered from them include: thirty seven (37) different phones, Five (5) Laptop computers, five ATM cards of different banks, Two(2) identity cards, two(2) wallets, two laptop chargers, one knife, three power banks, one hard drive and one battery charger.
They will be charged to Court as soon as the investigations are concluded.
