El-Rufai’s son, Ibori’s daughter and 3 other ex-governors’ children named Reps committee chairpersons
The House of Representatives has appointed at least five former state governors’ children serving in the lower chamber as heads of major standing committees.
Mohammed Bello El-Rufai, son of former Kaduna State Governor; Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, the daughter of former Delta State Governor, James Ibori, and Olumide Osoba, the son of Segun Osoba, the former Governor of Ogun State were among the 134 chairpersons of committees announced by Speaker Tajudeen Abbas on Thursday, July 27.
Others are Adegboyega Adefarati, the son of Adebayo Adefarati, a former governor of Ondo State and Olamiju Akala, the son of Alao Akala, a former governor of Oyo State.
