Emir of Kano, Ado Bayero visits Sanwo-Olu in Lagos

The Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, on Sunday paid a courtesy visit to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State.

The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Gboyega Akosile, in a tweet  on Sunday disclosed that Emir Ado Bayero held a brief meeting with  Governor Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos House, Marina.

The CPS disclosed that the first-class monarch talked on the need for a united Nigeria, calling on all citizens to eschew violence and tow the path of peace.

The Emir of Kano visited the Lagos governor at the time that the deposed Emir of Kano, HRH Muhammad Sanusi II, is residing in Lagos after his deposition from the throne by the Kano State Government.
