Erosion claims life inside multi-storey-building deep gully in delta
A lifeless body of a yet-to-be-identified victim of flooding has been found inside a gully at Alibuoba quarters, Agbor, Ika South, Delta.
The body was found on Saturday in the eroded pit measuring close to four-storey-building deep along the Universal Basic Education (UBE) Road, beside the Agbor Technical College.
It was the stench from the gully where the decomposing body of the victim that alerted the community..
The Chairman, Landlords/Landladies Association in the Area, Comrade Chukwuyem Odia said erosion has continued to pose great challenge and danger to residents in the area.
Some are already relocating.
