Ex-CBN boss reveals those behind killings in Northern Nigeria
Former Presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress and ex-deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Obadiah Mailafia, has said the elites who hate Nigeria and her progress are responsible for the subsistent bloodbath in Northern Nigeria.
Mailafia who disclosed this in a zoom conference, said the illicit activities of these elites was a glaring proof that they are the problem of the cankerworm ripping life off the country.
He lamented that the elites desire nothing but the downfall of Nigeria, which according to him, is a show of their hatred for the country.
In his words: “We have a peculiar disease in northern Nigeria perpetrated by elites who hate Nigeria and want nothing but the worst for our country. That is what I’m beginning to see with all these killings.”

He explained that there is a peculiar ‘disease’ in northern Nigeria which is being perpetrated by the elites who hate the nation.
The former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) went on to note that the elites are the problem of Nigeria, adding that their activities prove it.
While decrying the campaign against Western education being championed by Boko Haram, the former presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) said Islam is not opposed to it
