FCT Elections: PDP floors APC in Abuja Municipal Council Area chairmanship poll
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has recorded another victory in the FCT elections on Saturday. The party floored the All Progressives Congress (APC), wining the chairmanship election in the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC). The PDP had earlier won the chairmanship poll in Kuje Area Council.
The PDP candidate, Christopher Zaka, was declared by the INEC to have secured 19,302 votes to win the chairmanship election in AMAC; defeating the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Murtala Usman, who had 13,240 votes, beside the other 12 candidates, in the result total votes of 33,764 at the AMAC polls.
