FEC approves annual $5bn Poverty Trust Fund
The Federal Executive Council had at the Monday meeting approved the establishment of a Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation Trust Fund to uplift vulnerable Nigerians.

“The Federal Executive Council (FEC) today, approved the establishment of a Humanitarian and Poverty Alleviation Trust Fund as part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration’s efforts to cushion the economic hardship on vulnerable Nigerians.
