FG can’t ignore hunger of troops fighting terrorists in Northeast – Shehu Sani
Senator Shehu Sani has expressed dismay over the report of hunger among troops fighting terrorists in Northeast Nigeria, saying the federal government cannot ignore such report.

The former Senator noted that the Defence budget in Nigeria is one of the most fully funded in the last eight years by the federal government.

He does not see reasons why the troops cannot be provided what they need to carry out effective operations in combating terrorists in northeast Nigeria.

“The report of hunger among troops in the front lines fighting against terrorists in the North Eastern parts of the country deserves serious attention.
“Nigeria’s Defence budget is one of the most fully funded in the last eight years: Where are all the billions?”
