Fubara distributes over N3.6bn to 3,066 MSME beneficiaries
Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State, at the launch of the Rivers State/Bank of Industry Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Fund Loan Scheme on Friday, distributed over N3.6 billion to about 3,066 beneficiary MSMEs and 100 companies, including non-indigenes.

The governor noted that the loan scheme is one sure way of stimulating the state’s economy and improving the livelihood of the people.

“Earlier, we launched the Rivers State/Bank of Industry Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Fund Loan Scheme.

“We are elated by the professional approach in selecting the beneficiaries and the success of today’s launch.
“The loan scheme is one sure way of stimulating our state’s economy and improving the livelihood of our people.
“Over N3.6 billion was distributed to about 3,066 beneficiary MSMEs and 100 companies that included non-indigenes.
“We urge our people to be diligent as we are certain that the economy will improve with such robust stimulus.”
