God will judge Shekau for the pain he brought me—late Shekau’s mother
Boko Haram’s late leader Abubakara Shekau has doed but the evil he did linger behind him, and her mother Falmata remains in pain over the path her son chose in life.
In an interview with Trust TV, Falmata said whether Shekau is dead or alive matters nothing again to her.
“I gave birth to him, and on my own part, that is the only and the last thing between us. We have parted ways,” she said in the interview to be aired later.
“I never knew whether he had any offspring. He inflicted severe pain on me. God Almighty will judge between us in the hereafter.”
This is the second time Shekau’s mother will be granting interview on the life of her son. The first was a BBC interview in 2018 when Shekau was still alive.
The terrorist lychpin took his own life in May to avoid being captured by ISWAP.
