Governor Alex Otti of Abia State was in Rivers State to commission the 10.98km Aleto-Ogale-Ebubu-Eteo Road completed in the administration of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.

According to Governor Fubara, “the 10.98km road project is significant because apart from serving as an alternate route to commuters plying the axis, Eleme happens to be an important community in my life’s journey.

“Through the commissioning of the road we are proving to Rivers people that in spite of the orchestrated distractions, we will remain focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to our people.”

“It was a privilege having my brother and Special Guest of Honour, Dr. Alex Otti, Governor of Abia State perform the commissioning of Aleto-Ogale-Ebubu-Eteo road as we commenced activities to mark our one year in office.

“The 10.98km road project is significant because apart from serving as an alternate route to commuters plying the axis, Eleme happens to be an important community in my life’s journey.

“Through the commissioning of the road we are proving to Rivers people that in spite of the orchestrated distractions, we will remain focused on delivering the dividends of democracy to our people.

“Without a doubt, we are truly committed to fostering the interest of our people and we will continue to serve them diligently.

“A significant fact about the road is that we have completely paid the contract sum to the contractor upon completion.

“It certainly was an honour having Dr. Otti join us as we inaugurate a new beginning for Rivers State.”
