Asake reconciles with Father, promises new home, medical support
Nigerian hip-hop sensation Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has mended his strained relationship with his father, Fatai Odunsi, after a public fallout.
Days after Odunsi accused the music star of abandoning him since his health began deteriorating in 2022, the father and son have now reconciled, with Asake pledging to provide him with a new home and cover his medical expenses.
In a new video shared on Sunday, Odunsi confirmed that the dispute had been resolved, expressing his happiness over their renewed bond.
Speaking in Yoruba, he stated, “His mother ought to ask him when last he saw me. That was what got me angry, but we have sorted out all the problems. We are no longer fighting.”

He further disclosed that Asake had assured him of full support moving forward.
“Asake said he will do everything that I want. We have settled, no more problems. They are now looking for a new house that he will buy for me. He has settled everything,” Odunsi added.
Additionally, Asake has also agreed to take full responsibility for his 11-year-old daughter, Zeenat.
“He has never denied his child, but he has now promised to take full responsibility for her,” Odunsi revealed.
This reconciliation comes as a relief to fans and well-wishers who had followed the controversy, as Asake continues to rise in the music industry while ensuring his family ties remain strong.
