Governor Sanwo-Olu commissions 9 roads in Somolu
Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Monday commissioned nine roads, including a bridge in Soluyi Community in Kosofe Local Government Area.
The contract of the roads was awarded to Messrs Xenon Construction Limited in September 2017. The roads include Aderemi Akeju Street with deck-on-pile bridge, Okun Street, Femi Kufo Street, Brown Street, Adegbenro Street, Ganiyat Dawodu Street, Yetunde Brown Street, Anipole Street, Sosanya Street.
The pre-existing entrance and exit route in Soluyi Community, Gbagada, was the Ayodele Okeowo Road near Deeper Christian Life Bible Church.
These roads provide alternative by-pass for motorists within the Soluyi Community to the Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, Third Mainland Bridge and Apapa-Oworonsoki Expressway by the Third Axial underpass.
Governor Sanwo-Olu promised the residents of rehabilitating more roads in the Local
Government Area as the community leaders requested. The roads under consideration Taiwo Street (Ojota), Mabawonku (Oworo), Salawu Onikoyi Street, etc.
