Group demands investigation of Dr. Mailafia’s death
A Human Rights and Rule of Law initiative, Concerned Nigerians, have demanded the investigation of the circumstances of the sudden death of Dr. Obadiah Mailafia, a former Deputy Governor of CBN.
The Convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju, alleged that Mailafia had been violently targeted by some persons averse to his position on how ethnic minorities in Northern Nigeria are being treated.
Adeyanju protested that Nigerians who strive to expose the massive human rights violations and corruption in the Buhari administration are always the target of the regime.
The group, therefore, demanded the federal government to investigate the sudden death of Mailafia.
