Gunmen abduct retired NPA GM in Kano
Gunmen have abducted a retired General Manager of the Nigeria Port Authority (NPA), Alhaji Bashir M Abdullahi, in Kano state.
Abdullahi was abducted from his farm located at Gomo village of Sumaila Local Government Area of the state on Wednesday afternoon, November 3.
A resident of Gomo village told DailyTrust that the victim was whisked away by the gunmen while he was inspecting the farm in Gomo village.
When contacted, spokesperson of the Kano State Police Command DSP Haruna Abdullahi Kiyawa, said he was not aware of the incident, but promised to verify as quickly as possible.
