Gunmen invade polling units as Labour Party defeats Soludo in govt House
Gunmen, Saturday, struck Imeobi Ogbe Oza, Onitsha, Onitsha North Local Government Area, Anambra State and snatched some ballot boxes at the end of voting.
A source, Mr Ozii Anieto, disclosed that the incident occurred at about 3pm at ward 6 (Unit 003 and 009), when over 600 people had voted in both units.
Meanwhile, results of the election held at polling unit 017 (Agu Oka ward which is in Anambra State Government House), Labour Party won all the elections, with the State ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) scoring zero on the Presidential poll.

The result showed that the centre which had 63 accredited voters, had LP scoring 61 votes, as Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) scored 2 votes, All Progressive Congress (APC) zero, and APGA zero.
For senatorial election in Anambra Central, Labour got 49, APGA had 8, PDP recorded 5 and APC 1 vote, just as the results of Awka North and Awka South Federal Constituency showed that LP scored 51 votes, APGA 7 votes, PDP 4 votes, APC zero, and one invalid vote.
