EFCC chairman Abdulrasheed Maina said the ornaments are worth—and have been valued at—N14.5 bn.
This is besides the value of estate property belonging to the former minister which Bawa put at $80m.
Since the probe of the former minister began in 2015, the EFCC has not been able to uncover the extent of financial malpractices attributed to her.
All efforts to bring her home from exile in the UK have failed, too.
