How Rochas Okorocha and Hope Uzodinma reunited in Abuja after 3-years face-off (Video)
It’s no longer a news that the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma and One of his Predecessors who is also the Incumbent Lawmaker representing Imo West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Rochas Okorocha has been at loggerheads since the 2018 following the outcome of the APC won by Uzodinma against Okorocha’s preferred choice, Uche Nwosu, his Son-in-law.
Their Rift took a new dimension after Uzodinma assumed office in January 2020 and subsequently ordered the probe of Okorocha, a Development that led to arrest and detention of Okorocha by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), seizure of his Properties among others. The face-off between the two APC Chieftains splited the APC in Imo State into Two Factions.
It was at a joyful moment at the Yobe State Education Trust Fund Appeal Launch at the Lady Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel, Abuja as Okorocha and his political rival, Hope Uzodinma finally reunited. The Two APC Chieftains exchanged greetings and also embraced each other. This might have ended the rift between them.
Present at the event were the President of the Senate, Dr Ahmed Lawan, His Deputy, Senator Omo-Agege and several State Governors.
