How Tinubu approved over N1.14trn budget for FCT under Wike
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, in a media interaction on Tuesday in his office, revealed that President Bola Tinubu has approved the budget of the Federal Capital Territory of over N1.14 trillion for the 2024 fiscal year.
National Daily Newspaper gathered that the FCT 2024 budget comprises of N280 billion allocation for overhead expenditure, N726 billion capital projects, and N140 billion personnel costs, amounting to a total budget of N1.147 trillion.

Meanwhile, with the exception of Lagos State, the FCT N1.147 trillion annual budget 2024 is in excess of the 2024 annual budget of the respective 35 states of the Federation.
