How to secretly view whatsapp status

WhatsApp Statuses are a terrific way to see what people are up to, but they aren’t as private as many people would want. You can’t technically keep track of someone’s status without them knowing, unless you take extra precautions.

Go to Settings, click on ‘Privacy’ and turn off the Read receipts.

Now, if you check someone’s status, he or she will not be able to see your name on the list of people.

There is, however, a catch. You won’t be able to see who has checked your status if you turn off the Read Receipts for messages, just as you won’t be able to see who has checked your status if you turn off the Read Receipts for messages. However, if you don’t mind not knowing who has viewed your status, this option is really useful.

Switch on Read Receipts using the same process you used to turn them off.
