Indigenes celebrate Tinubu’s appointment of Chief of Defence Staff from Southern Kaduna
The people of Southern Kaduna, Kaduna State, went on wild celebration after President Bola Tinubu appointed Major General Christopher Gwabin Musa, a son-of-the-soil of Southern Kaduna, as Chief of Defence Staff. Musa succeeded General Lucky Irabor, who was appointed CDS by former President Muhammadu Buhari.
Senator Shehu Sani had expressed that the people were celebrating the appointment of their own as Chief of Defence Staff, “hoping he will bring an end to the terrorists attacks in the state.”
Shehu Sani noted that “official figures showed that 1,266 people were killed 4,973 were abducted in 15 months in Kaduna State.”
