The people of Southern Kaduna, Kaduna State, went on wild celebration after President Bola Tinubu appointed Major General Christopher Gwabin Musa, a son-of-the-soil of Southern Kaduna, as Chief of Defence Staff. Musa succeeded General Lucky Irabor, who was appointed CDS by former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Shehu Sani noted that “official figures showed that 1,266 people were killed 4,973 were abducted in 15 months in Kaduna State.”
