INEC commences display of voters registers in Ondo
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday commenced the display of voters registers in the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State.
INEC’s Head of Department, Voter Education, Publicity, Gender and Civil Society Organisations, Mrs. Olufunmike Segun-Osifeso, in the statement on Monday in Akure, explained that the display is part of activities ahead the forthcoming general election in the country.
The statement indicated that the display started on November 12, 2022 and will end on the November 25, 2022.
She said that “alongside the display is the claims and objections where the electorates are expected to check their names.
“They can also object to inclusion of certain names in the register of voters.”
