By Esther Egbe
The Players and officials of FC Ifeanyi Ubah made a return to full training session recently for the last lap of preparations for the forthcoming season after a brief recess occasioned by the Christmas celebration and New Year break.
Ahead of the 2016/17 NPFL season kickoff, the playing personnel of the Anambra Warriors are already talking tough ahead of the Live TV league opener against Kano Pillars holding at the Sani Abacha Stadium Kano come Saturday, 14th of January 2016. Super Eagles shotstopper Ikechukwu Ezenwa who expressed delight on his return to camp said the last phase of preparations for the new season kickoff will afford the team the opportunity to be 100% fit on the mental and physical level for the challenge ahead. He said the Super 4 tournament won by league rivals Rivers United which ended in a not too impressive note for the Anambra Warriors was the perfect opportunity for the team to look at the grey areas in their build-up for the task in view.

New signings led by Goalkeeper Drissa Bamba, King Osanga and Patrick Ikeokwu were also in the setup.
It would be recalled that FC IfeanyiUbah defeated Kano Pillars 2-1 in the run to maintain their 10-match unbeaten sequence in an action-packed game played at the Ifeanyi Ubah Games Village Nnewi during the 2015/16 season with goals from the boots of Ismaila Gata and Tamen Medrano.
