A Jos based Industrialist, Indigenous Manufacturer of UPVC, PVC and Boreholes casin pipes in Nigeria, Amb. Nelson Mkparu has Congratulated the Plateau State new Governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, saying that he will continue with the giant strides of the immediate past governor, Simon Lalong.
Our correspondent had reported that Mutfwang of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), was declared winner of the March 18th Governorship election.
Mkparu, owner of NELMACO Global Resources, who spoke through a statement he personally signed urged Plateau people to keep hope alive, adding that governance is continuum.
“It is no longer news that Nigeria’s governorship election has come and gone but the ripple effect created by the said election is still very fresh in the minds of millions of Nigerians who have hoped to use this opportunity to reset the country for good.
“Besides, an election has been conducted and the winner declared by INEC and it is on this note we are using this opportunity to send our congratulatory message to Mutfwang for the victory at the polls and for a successful swearing-in ceremony which went well devoid of any rancor.
“We hope he will use this opportunity to provide the Plateau people the much needed peace longed for, hoping that the renewed killings in Mangu LGA and other parts of the State will be brought to rest”, Mkparu said.
He called on all Plateau citizens to join hands with Mutfwang in building a prosperous Plateau where economic activities, peace progress will continue to thrive.
