Killings: Entertainer, Falz slams politicians’ silence, resumption of toll operations at Lekki
Nigerian entertainer, Folarin Falana aka Falz, has slammed Nigerian politicians for their preoccupation with activities that would get them into power and the planned resumption of tolling operations at the Lekki Tollgate.
Falz’s anger comes on the heels of the terror attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train on Monday.
The musician in tweets on his verified handle decried the current state of the country stating that politicians were going about their campaign activities while ignoring the killings in the country.
He tweeted, “Back to back bombings on the Kaduna-Abuja rail. Numerous Nigerian lives needlessly wasted and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has been uttered about it.
“Soldiers committed gruesome murders on innocent Nigerians on the night of October 20, 2020. The reports of the Judicial Panel set up by govt indicted the LCC. Despite being complicit in these gory crimes, LCC is brave enough to announce toll collection. What kind of madness?”
