LAGOS ASSEMBLY CONFIRMS APPOINTMENT OF STATE WATER REGULATORY COMMISSION, SAFETY COMMISSION BOSS

The Lagos State House of Assembly ratifies the appointments of Mr. Fouad Oki and Arch. Kabir Ahmed Abdullahi as Director General Lagos State Safety Commission and Chief Executive Lagos State Water Regulatory Commission respectively.
The nominees during cross-examination by Honourable Members explained in details what they intend to contribute in their various appointment to the development of the State. Mr. Fuad promised to provide safety for homes, schools, factories and most especially our motor ways while Arch. Ahmed also promised to take Lagos State water regulatory commission to the next level.
Contributing, the members spoke on the appointee’s achievements in the State both in APC and the society. Hon. Fafunmi said “Mr. Oki has demonstrated to us that he is a technocrat because he has proved to us that he is capable of the task ahead”.
Hon. Yishawu also commented on the Arch. Kabir’s contribution to the State “Arch. Kabir is very helpful, instrumental and a professional administrator. We need people like him in the development of the State”.
Hon. Victor Akande Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member representing constituency I, also lend credence to the appointment of Fuad Oki, citing his officious conducts and mien giving a helping hand to whoever comes his way for assistance not minding political leaning.
The Speaker Rt, Hon. Mudashiru Obasa later directed the Clerk of the House, Mr. Ganiyu Abiru to notify the Governor about the confirmation.
