Lagos road still flooded, days after rainfall

The Herbert Macaulay Way in the Yaba area of Lagos is still flooded, days after downpour in the state.

TrackaNG, a civil society organisation that tracks the implementation of government projects, shared photos of the flooded road on Monday saying, “Dear #jidesanwoolu, Three days after the heavy downpour the entire Herbert Macaulay way in Yaba still remains flooded.

“We call on #followlasg to kindly fix the drainage channels for ease of movement for road users.”

Different areas of Lagos were flooded due to heavy rain in recent days.
