Lagos State Govt. suspend NURTW indefinitely
Following a threat by the President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) that the union’s chapter in Lagos could be suspended, the Lagos State Government has indefinitely suspended transport union operations around Lagos Island, particularly on Church Street, Eyin Eyo, and the Idumota Bridge, due to recent clashes that have paralyzed activities in the state’s Idumota axis.
