With the transfer window still open, clubs have occupied themselves with the task to rebuild and make their teams more formidable.

Pep Guardiola and Manchester City have not been left out in this quest especially after the audacious arrival of England international Jack Grealish in a £100m transfer from Aston Villa.

Meanwhile, recent report reaching National Daily has revealed that former Red Devil’s talisman Cristiano Ronaldo could be making a bold transfer to United’s arch rivals and neighbours Manchester City.

And while Juventus are of the belief that the 36-year-old will remain with them especially as he has not asked to leave, speculation meanwhile has continued to mount over his future with L’Equipe now reporting that the player is trying to engineer a return to the Premier League.

However, the report had stressed that the possibility of any deal for Ronaldo to the Etihad largely hinges on Harry Kane’s move from Tottenham thus making it quite complicated.

And while Levy’s position has reportedly caused Guardiola and his staff losing confidence in getting Kane’s deal done, it is also believed that City are reluctant to bring Ronaldo to the Etihad as they are neither ready to meet Juventus €25m (£21m) asking fee for the 36-year-old Ronaldo nor are they keen to make him their club’s highest earner given his current £510,000-a-week deal at Juventus.
