Liverpool’s Joe Gomez signs new 5yrs deal
Liverpool defender Joe Gomez has signed a new five-year contract.
The 21-year-old’s progress this season has been rewarded with a deal which will keep him at Anfield until the summer of 2024.
It’s the perfect fillip for Gomez, who is facing around six weeks out after fracturing his leg in last week’s Premier League win at Burnley.
Reds sporting director Michael Edwards opened discussions with Gomez’s agent in October in recognition of his outstanding form this term.
