Man arrested for killing a baby and injuring mom
Police operatives in Adamawa State have arrested a 40-year-old man, Barnabas Abduneza, in connection with the murder of a baby.
The suspect, a resident of Kpasham village, Demsa LGA of the state, was arrested on Thursday, September 29 following credible information. He was to have attacked the deceased and her mother in Kadamti village, leading to the death of the baby and grievous bodily harm on the mother.
The command’s spokesperson, SP Sulaiman Nguroje, in a statement on Saturday said the police had recovered a black face mask, some bows and arrows, and some other dangerous weapons from the suspect.
