Missing UniAbuja 400-level student dies in car crash
A 400-level female student of the University of Abuja, Murjanatu Zubairu who was declared missing on Friday, April 26 has been confirmed dead.
The student who left home for school on Friday, died in a car accident along the Lugbe–Airport Road, Abuja. She was a student of the Department of Arts Education in the university’s Faculty of Education.
An uncle to the deceased, Alhaji Zubairu Jibrin Yewuti, confirmed her demise in a telephone conversation with newsmen on Monday night.
“The family of Murja called me in the afternoon and they confirmed that she died in an accident that occurred along the Lugbe–Airport Road last Friday.
They visited the mortuary at the University of Abuja, Teaching Hospital where her corpse was found,” the uncle said.
The Lugbe Unit Commander of the FRSC Commander, Sunday Ajokotola said the accident, which occurred on Friday at 8:34 p.m involved a Toyota Sharon bus near the Dunamis Church along the Airport Road.
