Naira notes, Fuel Scarcity: One shot as protest rocks Ogun
At least one person sustained gunshot injury during a protest over the new Naira notes and fuel scarcity in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
It was gathered that the protesters, who were in their numbers, took to the streets on Tuesday afternoon to express their plight over the state of the nation.

In videos obtained, some of the protesters could be seen throwing stones and burning tyres on the streets.
According to reports, one of the protesters was hit by a stray bullet as police allegedly shot to disperse the crowd.
The injured man was captured running down the street with blood gushing from his hands.
